Process: Book were glued together at the edges using a mixture of glue and water and weighted for two weeks, while four coats were applied. A window was carved into the cover and carving layer by layer in a process used by Archaeologists called Stratification Digging. The collage happens in a layer by layer basis, keeping what I like and then carving to preserve until it is complete.
